„Kraftwerk Bille“, a late 19th century factory complex, is located in the industrial east of Hamburg, in Hammerbrook. Following the development of the “HafenCity” the central location of Hammerbrook gets more and more into focus of urban planning and becomes part of a long-term development project under the heading “space for urban pioneers”.
